Even for a boxer of solid mental fortitude, Ryan Garcia finds himself in tatters. After collecting the biggest win of his career against Devin Haney, everything that could go wrong has gone downhill for him. Adding to his already tall pile of miseries, the American boxer’s recent arrest for a felony and a trip behind bars have worsened the situation.

At the age of 25, Garcia found himself in a difficult situation with law enforcement after being arrested for felony damage to property. The Waldorf Astoria hotel claimed he was responsible for costing them around $15,000 in repairs. Shortly after his arrest, he was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. It appears his legal troubles are temporarily over, as ‘KingRy’ announced on his Twitter account.

These challenges have taken a toll on him, a fact even his rival Sean O’Malley has brought up. As such, in his TimboSugarShow podcast, the UFC champion hinted that Garcia might be an unusual example of an individual experiencing blackouts. Subsequently, O’Malley then talked about Garcia’s mother’s health.

Did you see him talking about his mom having cancer? And then, if she dies, he’s going to kill himself? Did you see that? That’s f**king scary.

The boxing world truly worries about Garcia’s psychological well-being, yet the athlete has chosen to deal with his issues independently. Moreover, he is patiently waiting for a decision regarding his use of Ostarine, as he is up against a long suspension and a significant penalty.
