“Gonna return from Japan a demon”- Wrestling fans shocked after rumors of 7′ 3” tall WWE Superstar possibly going to Japan wrestling promotion run rampant online
30-year-old WWE star is seemingly set to compete in tag team action on January 1 amid prolonged absence from programming.

Over the past year or so, WWE has shown more openness to working with other wrestling promotions. As such, it has partnered up with Total Nonstop Action (TNA), Pro Wrestling NOAH, and Marigold. This will extend during the new year as WWE United States Champion Shinsuke Nakamura will travel to Japan for NOAH’s ‘The New Year’ show. However, Nakamura might not be the only WWE star also competing on the same night.
On Wednesday, a fan caught wind of a new particular face getting added to NOAH’s roster. The name in question is none other than Omos. The 7′ 3″ wrestler hasn’t wrestled on WWE programming in over eight months now. Fans raised concerns about his status within the company due to his lack of appearances. Later, Fightful noted that Omos was still under contract, but WWE occasionally uses him for media obligations only.
As to what Omos might be doing in NOAH, it seems he might be Jack Morris‘ mystery tag team partner. Morris and his tag partner will take on Naomichi Marufuji and Takashi Sigiura. On the same show, Nakamura will face Ulka Sasaki, marking his return to Japan in almost two years. Interestingly, this isn’t the first time a WWE talent will be wrestling for a Japanese promotion.
NOAH probably just leaked their surprise for their 1.1 Nippon Buddakon show is Omos. Jack Morris promised “the biggest X in history” to face Sugiura and Marufuji for the tag titles and NOAH has accidentally added Omos to their roster early😭

Back in July, both AJ Styles and IYO SKY traveled to the Land of the Rising Sun. Styles squared off against Marufuji at NOAH’s Destination event. Meanwhile, SKY wrestled against Utami Hayashishita on Marigold’s debut show, Summer Destiny. Both WWE stars emerged victorious in well-received bouts. With that said, it will be interesting to see how Shinsuke Nakamura and perhaps Omos fare this time.
Wrestling fans react to WWE star Omos possibly wrestling at NOAH’s new year show
Fans were thrilled at the prospect of Omos tearing the house down in Pro Wrestling NOAH. Many felt that WWE was underutilizing him by not having him wrestle more on shows. Therefore, users online called for Omos to stay for more than one event, if he is indeed making the trip to Japan.
One fan suggested that The Nigerian Giant would thrive outside of WWE. Another user was excited at the possibility of Omos standing in the ring across from a legend like Naomicihi Marufuji. Meanwhile, a fan hilariously stated that this was a Christmas miracle come true.

I think Omos would thrive outside of the WWE. NOAH, TNA , Hell even some Indie wrestling promotions.

Fucking brilliant. Dude is young enough and literally and figuratively would be HUGE in japan. I hope he’s successful, seems like a super nice guy as well.

All in all, fans wished the best for Omos, as he is known to be one of the nicest guys on the WWE roster. Moreover, only time will tell if this planned excursion turns out well for the former Tag Team Champion.
