Joe Burrow has been lighting up the NFL currently and has led his Cincinnati Bengals win their last four games to bring them back into playoff contention. Micah Parsons was the first to lose in that stretch and knows first-hand what it is to face them.

It is not that they do not have their deficiencies on defense as opponents have managed to score at will. However, when Joe Burrow and his elite offensive teammates walk on to the field, it generally ends up in scoring plays.

Burrow has the advantage of throwing to the best wide receiving tandem in the league along with a resurgent Mike Gesicki at tight end. That collective four along with a steadily improving run game has become a nightmare for opposition defenses, as Micah Parsons explained on his podcast.

If they go to the playoffs, I don’t think any team wants to see the Bengals. He looks unstoppable.

The chances of the Bengals making it to the playoffs is slim as they need to win their game and both the Denver Broncos, and the Miami Dolphins have to lose. But in the rare situation they do make it in, Micah Parsons’ warning should be resonating with defensive coordinators.

The edge rusher added that Joe Burrow has been playing at an unbelievable level despite not having his starting offensive tackles on the field. That adds on to the notion that the Bengals superstar is playing at an MVP level.

Micah Parsons feels Joe Burrow is clear MVP favorite

The Dallas Cowboys superstar has already crowned Burrow as the best quarterback in the league. But when he took to the topic of MVP, the superstar pass rusher had another take based on his first-hand experience.

He, without a doubt, should be MVP. I get the Josh (Allen) argument, but Lamar’s (Jackson) beaten 7 playoff teams, Josh’s beaten two. So, it has to be between Lamar and Joe Burrow.

The 25-year-old clarified he does admire Josh Allen for the monster of a quarterback that he is. But he feels the MVP race is between Lamar Jackson and Joe Burrow. He has seen up front how those two have led their teams.

The Cowboys star feels if the Bengals makes it to the playoffs, Burrow will likely be crowned MVP. That may not be what some former players and analysts feel. But the former LSU star dragging his team out of the mud has warranted him a place in that conversation.
