Italian actor, Michele Morrone recently issued a public apology to Algerian boxer Imane Khelif for his comment surrounding the Angela Carini controversy at the Paris Olympics. The match between the two boxers took an intense turn when the scheduling much less the ruling of the match was blamed biased and unfair. Morrone had taken to Instagram to criticize the outcome of the match against Italian boxer Angela Carini and Imane Khelif.
He took a stand for Carini much less against Khelif suggesting his belief in the surrounding rumors. Soon after, the rumors were put to rest because of proof brought to light. The 365 Days actor was quick to rectify his error and apologize for his error. In turn, he also apologized to the Algerian people on the grounds of the fractures of being a human being.

After the match, some spectators mistakenly took Imane Khelif for a man fighting in the women’s category at the Paris Olympics. The world was upended by the speculation caused due to her built physique and strong presence in the ring.
Despite the controversy, Imane Khelif emerged victorious, representing herself and her country in the ring will all her might. She finished her Paris Olympics campaign with a gold in her treasure trove.
Imane Khelif Talks Bullying And Sweet Victory
Imane Khelif beat Chinese world champion, Yang Liu at the Paris Olympics with a fully dominant score over four rounds to win welterweight gold. The Algerian boxer revealed she was not new to attacks over gender. She was banned from the World Championships for over a year due to reports of failed gender eligibility tests.
In a post-match interview, she said that she was a victim of bullying and claimed that the International Boxing Association (IBA) hated her for no reason known to her. The 25-year-old boxer said that she was fully qualified to take part in the Paris Olympics. She stated that she was born a woman, lived as one, and competed as one.
The Paris Olympics arena roared with the sounds of the Algerian supporters, who waved their green, white, and red flags for Khelif. The victory was a sweet taste for Khelif after attacks over her gender.
