Rhea Ripley has one of the most passionate fanbases in wrestling today. Even the least of her concerns is enough to bother her followers. A few hours ago, a fan on X named Olivia posted Ripley’s selfie that she initially posted on Instagram Stories. Notably, the former Judgment Day star had her middle finger covered, insinuating it wasn’t alright.
The fan wondered if Rhea had burned her ring finger. Ripley replied saying that wasn’t the case. However, Mami had cut it off with a cucumber slicing machine a few months ago. Even though it sounds horrible, the Aussie grappler left a laughing emoticon at the end of her answer as if the accident was innocuous.
In another photo, the former women’s world champion posed with her husband, Buddy Matthews, wishing Merry Christmas to everyone. The entire WWE crew took a breather this holiday season. The company taped the latest Raw episode last week itself, allowing the superstars and staffers to spend more time with their families. However, there’s no rest for the weary.

They’ll be back on the road the night after Christmas with a loop of live events leading up to 2025. Having capped off yet another year full of ups with some minor setbacks, Ripley has a golden opportunity awaiting her. On the Netflix premiere of Raw, she’ll challenge Liv Morgan for the women’s world title.
If Rhea does beat Liv, she’d likely walk into WrestleMania 41 as champion. This year, at The Show of Shows, The Eradicator scored one of the biggest wins of her career when she took Becky Lynch down. If it hadn’t been for a freak injury, Rhea wouldn’t have had to vacate the women’s title a few weeks after Mania.

It couldn’t have been more clear that Rhea was rooting for Chelsea to get it done. The latter even reacted to their wholesome off-camera moment, declaring Ripley a queen. It’d be interesting to see what the new year brings for both of them.
