Rumor killer on WWE’s plan of introducing Bloodline-related championship following massive fan backlash
Amid heavy criticism of the idea of a Tribal Chief belt being put on WWE television, it doesn't seem likely anymore as a new report states.

It does seem like WWE definitely keeps an eye on social media reactions to anything the company does creatively. Earlier this month, a report from WrestleVotes stated that WWE has discussed the introduction of a Tribal Chief Championship to fit into the ongoing storyline between Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa. It’d have been similar to the one currently held by The Rock—the People’s Championship.
However, as per Dave Meltzer via WON, the proposed Tribal Chief title isn’t on the cards anymore. This would mollify a bunch of wrestling netizens who were absolutely livid with the original idea. They argued that Reigns and Sikoa have been feuding over the Ula Fala for months. Adding a championship belt would’ve only abated the prestige of the revered Samoan garland.
On the Netflix premiere of Raw, the WWE Universe will probably get to know who gets to keep the Ula Fala. Roman and Solo will go to war in a contest that’d likely close out the show on January 6. It’s worth noting that the new Bloodline leader has a pinfall victory over the OG Bloodline supremo.
Though Reigns got his lick back on Solo in the men’s WarGames match at Survivor Series, he’d be gunning for more. Roman’s 2024, in retrospect, has been bittersweet. Even though he reunited with The Usos and Sami Zayn late in the year, Reigns’ title loss to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania XL continues to eat him up from the inside.
The OTC plans on restoring his lost glory, and the first step in that journey is the restoration of his status as the ‘Only Tribal Chief.’ Meanwhile, Solo Sikoa and his men will do everything in their power to keep Reigns away from his groove.
Drew McIntyre plans on dismantling the OG Bloodline
If there’s anyone who hates The Bloodline more than Solo Sikoa at this point, it’s Drew McIntyre. The latter has made it his priority to take out each and every member of the Roman Reigns-led stable.
Drew already has the number of Sami Zayn, having beaten the latter twice since returning. Jimmy Uso did beat McIntyre up on SmackDown, but Jimmy’s foot is all messed up right now. Jey Uso will take the gauntlet to the Scot, but is likely to fall in order. If McIntyre gets past The Yeet Master, Drew would only be left with Reigns.
A singles showdown between them down the road will do numbers for WWE. They’ve previously fought each other on quite a few occasions, and Drew’s never gotten that decisive win over Roman. The Scottish Warrior recently issued a warning to the Bloodline while slamming Netflix for shunning him.
