Sexyy Red returned to the WWE at the latest NXT PLE. The popular rapper was assigned the role of the host of NXT Battleground and kicked off the show in the ring. Although she had multiple appearances throughout the show, one segment really caught the fans’ attention.

The 26-year-old was being interviewed backstage and promoted her upcoming tour. Lola Vice walked into the frame, celebrating her victory over Shayna Baszler earlier in the night in an NXT Underground match. In a fit of excitement, Red started twerking and asked the NXT Superstar to join her.

The rapper cheered her on and spanked her. She even turned the interviewer around and asked her to join them in their twerking session. As the three twerked together, fans couldn’t help but think of a WWE Hall of Famer who really wanted to see this.

Booker T got exactly what he wanted with this segment. The NXT commentator said he would love to see a twerk-off dance competition between Lola Vice and Sexyy Red. Although people like Brooks Jensen were highly upset with his statements, it looks like the former World Heavyweight Champion did end up getting his wish.

Trick Williams reveals what he said to Sexyy Red in their first meeting

Sexyy Red made a well-received appearance on NXT before her role as host of NXT Battleground. She unveiled the NXT North American Women’s Championship and recorded a hilarious video with Shawn Michaels. Further, she was also at ringside for a match pitting the team of Trick Williams and Je’Von Evans against Gallus.

Speaking on The Ringer Wrestling Show, Williams said that it felt great to meet a mainstream celebrity. She instantly recognized him and knew his name when they first met. He claimed that she was ready to have a good time and was a natural during her segments. 

The 30-year-old could instantly feel a connection with her. She was ready to work alongside him. The champion had a lot of fun when she helped him spice up his entrance on NXT. The rapper was also seen at the end of NXT Battleground alongside Trick Williams. She came out to celebrate with the NXT Champion after he successfully retained his title against Ethan Page in the main event.
