This week on Raw, The New Day came out to the ring to address the WWE Universe. After evicting Big E from the faction, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods have failed miserably to justify their actions. In fact, Kingston’s home crowd of Boston straight up rejected him, leading to a tense situation. To make matters worse, Kofi’s mother, clearly ashamed of her son’s actions, walked away in disgust.

After the WWE Universe vocally rejected him, the former WWE Champion revealed that his mother had traveled all the way from Ghana to support him. As Kofi approached her for a hug, she visibly showed her disappointment. In a shocking turn of events, his mother stunned Kingston by giving him the cold shoulder and, with a look of regret, walked out of the arena.

Kingston was left in utter disbelief as his own mother rejected him for his actions against Big E. It appears the WWE Universe has no interest in hearing any justification from Kingston and Woods. Adding to their woes, the locker room has also turned its back on the duo. WWE legend Rey Mysterio took action last week, banning The New Day from the locker room as a statement in support of the Tampa native.
