The latest episode of Raw featured a celebration of the 10th anniversary of The New Day. Furthermore, the show featured the return of Big E back on TV, even if it came under unfavorable circumstances. In fact, he is expected to be a regular on WWE programming going forward. Although fans are delighted by this news, the former WWE Champion’s girlfriend, Kris Yim, is not so happy with what transpired.

During the segment, Kofi Kingston blamed Big E for abandoning them, working a “desk job” at the pre-shows, and starting a new life with his girlfriend. The 38-year-old’s girlfriend responded to this remark on X and seemed upset that she was being brought into this situation. She retorted by saying that the only reason he wanted a new life with her was because she always had his back.

Yim went on to take shots at the other New Day members. She said that Kofi Kingston needed to work on his “bird a** chest.” Furthermore, Xavier Woods needed to focus on winning a singles title. His biggest achievement to date was winning a “Burger King” crown, referring to his King of the Ring victory in 2021.

She also posted a photo of herself flipping off her boyfriend’s former tag team partners. Yim said that she was actually looking forward to having them over at her house. She was even willing to accommodate Kingston’s vegan diet and Woods’ “child a** pallet.” Regardless of the love shown by Big E towards his teammates, they ended up turning heel on him.

Update on Big E’s WWE contract status

Back in 2019, all three New Day members re-signed with WWE with a 5-year contract. It is rumored that Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston have extended their contracts. However, the status of Big E’s contract remains uncertain due to his injury.

According to a report by Fightful, there is no sign of any extensions or re-signings. Sources in WWE believe that his injury time has not been added to his contract, considering that he initially signed on as an in-ring talent. However, his non-in-ring appearances as a panelist on Premium Live Events have been added to his contract.
