The F1 carnival has reached Las Vegas for this year’s much-anticipated event. A lot has been going on within the paddock and amidst the non-stop hustle and bustle, RB has out-of-the-blue dropped an extremely aesthetic special lively.
For the Las Vegas Grand Prix weekend, the Peter Bayer-led RB outfit has gone for a glitterish color scheme on the VCARB 01. The scheme is a mix of green, blue, and red, which makes the car look simply extraordinary.
Liam Lawson was recently asked to share his thoughts on the eye-catching livery and he summed it up nicely with a lovely three-word response.
While RB will be attracting several eyeballs during the upcoming three-day track running, they have a serious job on their hands. Following Alpine’s shock double podium, the Faenza-based outfit has slipped to eighth in the constructors’ standings.
RB targeting to ‘score points with both cars’ at Las Vegas GP
As mentioned above, RB is a fight for sixth place in the constructors’ with Alpine and the Haas F1 team. In line with this, Liam Lawson has admitted that his team is targeting a solid double-points finish at the Las Vegas GP.
As things stand, RB has so far amassed 44 points in comparison to Haas’ 46 and Alpine’ 49.
Liam Lawson: "We struggled here last year, but we've made some changes and we think we understand how to improve the car here. So we are optimistic, we are in a close fight for P6, and our target is just to score points with both cars."

RB has gone through quite a few changes during the ongoing 2024 F1 season. The campaign has not at all been smooth sailing for them but despite this, Yuki Tsunoda and Liam Lawson have done well for the team.
If the duo is able to help RB finish in sixth place in the constructors’ championship, it will put them in good stead to amass the Red Bull seat for 2025. Both Lawson and Tsunoda are in with a strong shot at the coveted seat alongside Max Verstappen.
