The Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, witnessed an exhilarating boxing match a few hours ago. Two of the most dominant heavyweight boxers of the current generation, Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury, faced off against each other. Following this match, Usyk verbally agreed to a potential fight against the reigning IBF heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois.
Oleksandr Usyk once again demonstrated his dominance in the boxing ring by defeating Tyson Fury by a unanimous decision. However, an incident involving British boxer Daniel Dubois has stirred controversy in the boxing community. Following the fight, Dubois allegedly interrupted Usyk’s post-fight interview to challenge him.
The rematch between Fury and Usyk attracted significant attention, largely due to their successful initial encounter. Leading up to their fight, both heavyweight boxers exchanged several critical comments aimed at each other. However, Usyk remained undefeated, demonstrating his exceptional boxing skills against Fury.
Notably, many prominent figures from the boxing community, including Dubois, were present to witness Usyk’s victory once again. Dubois is currently the defending IBF heavyweight champion after defeating Anthony Joshua a few months ago.

Interestingly, Usyk vacated his IBF title to allow for a matchup between other heavyweight boxers, including ’Dynamite’ and Joshua. After winning the fight against ’AJ’, Dubois has positioned himself as a contender for the other heavyweight titles as well. At present, Usyk holds the remaining four heavyweight titles: the WBA, IBO, WBO, and The Ring championship.
Is Oleksandr Usyk interested in a fight against Daniel Dubois?
Daniel “Dynamite” Dubois and Oleksandr Usyk faced off for the first time in August 2023. In that fight, the Ukrainian boxer delivered one of the best performances of his career by knocking out the Brit. Interestingly, the match was surrounded by some controversies where one of Dubois’ body shots at Usyk was ruled out.
In the early rounds of their fight, per Dubois, he landed a clean body shot that dropped the Ukrainian boxer, Usyk. However, the referee ruled it a low blow, much to the Brit’s discontent, leading him to label the decision as a robbery. More than a year later, Dubois revisited the topic, expressing his desire for a rematch with Usyk. In response, the Ukrainian boxer stated that he has no problem facing the Brit again.

“I WANT MY REVENGE. LET’S GO.”
Never seen that much emotion from him.
“Usyk replies: His Excellency, make the fight.”
Usyk appears to be urging Turki Alalshikh, the boxing mogul, to facilitate a future matchup between him and Dubois. Interestingly, if these two heavyweight boxers face off again, the undisputed heavyweight championship title will also be on the line. For Usyk, this would be a second opportunity to claim this prestigious honor. In contrast, Dubois has the chance to make history by winning the undisputed title at such a young age.
