The rematch between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury took place last weekend and attracted significant attention. Usyk emerged victorious for the second time. Interestingly, following the fight, the Ukrainian boxer responded to a fan-made poster that depicted him posing as the fictional character ‘Hitman.’

A few months ago, during the press conference for the Usyk vs. Fury 2 fight, the Ukrainian champion wore a costume resembling the Hitman. Fight fans were quite surprised but enjoyed Usyk’s portrayal of the character. Keeping this in mind, a fan page called Pro Boxing Fans created a poster featuring him as the Hitman, alongside images of his defeated opponents. In a surprising reaction to the poster, Usyk revealed details about his friendship with some of those past opponents.

I don’t like this picture… Tony Bellew, my best friend, Derek (Chisora) too, maybe Anthony (Joshua) too, (Daniel) Dubois not, (Tyson) Fury maybe.

Over the years, Usyk has faced several formidable boxers, including notable names such as Tony Bellew, Derek Chisora, Anthony Joshua, and Daniel Dubois. Usyk also expressed his dislike for the poster related to these fighters. He explained that he considers Bellew, Chisora, Joshua, and even Fury to be good friends, which influenced his reaction. Shockingly, he snubbed Dubois from that list.

One reason Usyk may have snubbed ‘Dynamite’ Dubois is due to the British boxer’s recent behavior. Just minutes after Usyk’s victory over Fury last weekend, Dubois interrupted his post-fight interview. He even publicly challenged Usyk at that moment. This might have left the former undisputed heavyweight boxing champion feeling disappointed.

Turki Alalshikh pens down a message for both Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury after their grudge fight

The rematch between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury was organized and managed by boxing supremo Turki Alalshikh. Interestingly, the chairman of Saudi GEA, Alalshikh, has consistently worked to elevate the profile of the boxing world. The two bouts between Fury and Usyk were significant highlights of the Saudi delegation’s efforts in the sport.

After a successful initial encounter between Fury and Usyk, Alalshikh quickly arranged a grudge match between the two once again. As a result, both top heavyweight boxers entered the ring prepared for their rematch. However, for the second consecutive time in his career, Fury suffered defeat against the Ukrainian champion. A few days later, Alalshikh shared his thoughts on the clash.

I will speak from my heart as a fan not as a person from Riyadh season team… in the fight between Usyk and Tyson, I counted that Usyk 4 rounds more… that does not mean Tyson was performing bad no no no he gave us everything but let’s be honest Usyk one of the greatest boxers in this generation and he proved it with big names.

Following the rematch between Usyk and Fury, Alalshikh expressed his thoughts on potential future matchups for the two boxers. For the Ukrainian champion, a possible title unification fight against Dubois is on the horizon, provided that the Brit defeats Joseph Parker in his upcoming match. As for Fury, Alalshikh believes that a highly anticipated super-fight against Anthony Joshua would be an exciting matchup.
