Whittaker made his UFC debut in December 2012. He was part of The Ultimate Fighter: The Smashes season. As such, he competed in TUF and made it to the finals of the tournament. Later, at UFC on FX, he defeated Brad Scott to win TUF.
Does Robert Whittaker hold any championship belts?
Whittaker won the interim middleweight belt against Yoel Romero at UFC 213. At the time, Michael Bisping was set to defend the undisputed belt against Georges St-Pierre. However, GSP won the belt and vacated it due to health difficulties. Hence, he was promoted to the undisputed champion. He did not defend the title and lost it to Israel Adesanya at UFC 243.
