Mike Tyson is regarded as the greatest Heavyweight boxer of all time. He is the youngest-ever boxer to capture the world heavyweight championship. His ferocious character gained him the nickname “Iron Mike ” and “The baddest man on the planet”.
Tyson was the only heavyweight to successfully unify the WBA, WBC, and IBF belts in success. He came in at number 16 on The Ring magazine’s ranking of the 100 greatest punchers in history. Competing in a total of 58 fights throughout his career he lost just 6 matches.
Tyson was one of the most well-known sports figures in the world at the height of his fame and career in the late 1980s into the 1990s. Mike was inducted into the hall of fame in the year 2011 and will go down as one of the greatest athletes to grace the sport of boxing.
