Cleveland Browns witnessed a hapless day on Thursday, August 1st as their running back D’Onta Foreman was rushed to the hospital in an ambulance after suffering a grave injury during the practice session. He was completely immobilized before putting on a stretcher into the ambulance.

During the statement to the media, the team revealed that Foreman “sustained a direct blow to the head that resulted in neck pain” during the training camp. They further assured everyone later in the afternoon that X-rays and CT scans had come back negative and the running back would be released from the hospital very soon.

As Foreman is recovering, his teammate offered him a tribute and prayed for his speedy recovery. They gathered in prayer by bending on their knees on the football field at The Greenbrier Resort in West Virginia shortly after the running back left for the hospital.

Even though the running back left the field, the Browns didn’t end the practice session and later on head trainer Joe Sheehan addressed the team and encouraged the prayer for him.

It’s tough. It’s part of football. It’s probably the worst part of football, but we’ve got a great medical team and praying and hoping for the best.
