CM Punk‘s dog Larry has been the talk of the town ever since he was reported to be a top merchandise seller in WWE. The dog’s popularity has been immense within the WWE Universe, and some top stars are trying to get the rub. Recently, it was Bayley, who recently went to Punk’s house has dropped a hint of a potential collaboration down the line.
Taking it to X, The Role Model posted a picture of herself with Larry. However, the caption was the most intriguing part, as Bayley suggested that she and the popular dog were discussing some merchandise collaboration ideas for the future.

Given the hype around Punk’s dog, his merchandise with the former Women’s Champion could work. The 35-year-old recently advanced to the next round of the Women’s United States Championship tournament on SmackDown. While being high on momentum, Bayley is looking to add another feather of achievement to her cap in WWE.

Moreover, WWE has been leveling up with their merchandise in the last few months. Popular dogs like Larry and Cody Rhodes‘ Pharoah have been unexpectedly emerging as top merchandise sellers. It will be interesting to see if Bayley can come up with new ideas to collaborate with Larry or not, with the dog being so over among the fans.
Bayley admits her heel turn led to a disconnection with the fans
In 2019, Bayley unexpectedly turned heel on SmackDown. After destroying her ‘Bayley Buddies,’ she discovered a new side of character that was more selfish and vicious than ever. Although the heel turn was quite controversial, The Role Model recently discussed how she felt about this drastic change in her career.
Speaking on the Pro Wrestling Experiences, the 35-year-old admitted that her heel turn led to a disconnection between her and the fans. She said that she was initially doubtful whether it would work or not. However, as things passed by during the pandemic, she adapted to the gimmick, leading to a successful run as a villain and the SmackDown Women’s Champion.
When I became a bad guy, I felt like I lost a genuine connection with fans. It was like they don’t know how they feel about me or whether they still want to like me or what it was. It was a genuine disconnection.

Furthermore, the former Women’s Champion claimed that if she had continued the babyface Bayley run during the pandemic, it could have failed extensively. Therefore, the former Damage CTRL leader expressed gratitude for being successful even after being dubious about her decision.
