Since returning to WWE, Naomi has become one of the most prominent names in the women’s division on SmackDown. In addition to challenging for the Women’s Title multiple times, she has also teamed with her friend, Bayley. The duo have had each other’s backs on several occasions. However, a fan on X recently suggested that their tag team breakup could be on the horizon. Naomi took offense to this theory, responding to the fan.
The former Women’s Champion boldly asserted that her bond with Bayley is stronger than ever. As such, neither one of them would ever turn on each other. For some reason, a few fans on social media speculated a heel turn from Naomi. Most likely, it had to do with her being on the scene following the brutal parking lot attack on Jade Cargill. The 36-year-old denied being the one behind the attack.
On the latest episode of SmackDown, Naomi teamed with Bayley to take on Candice LeRae and Tiffany Stratton. The two friends emerged victorious via disqualification as a brawl ensued. Naomi will be a part of team Rhea Ripley in the women’s WarGames match at the upcoming Survivor Series PLE.

As for her friendship with Bayley, things have been tricky due to The Role Model’s rocky relationship with Bianca Belair. Furthermore, the grand slam champion might’ve felt left out after her exclusion from the WarGames team.
While Naomi has attempted to resolve their relationship, Belair still hasn’t forgotten about her rivalry with Bayley and Damage CTRL. However, The EST of WWE might have to swallow her pride following the attack on Cargill.
Bayley could join Naomi inside WarGames after Jade Cargill injury on SmackDown
The aforementioned parking lot attack on Jade Cargill has left her status for Survivor Series uncertain. Cargill was a part of Rhea Ripley’s team, which also included Bianca Belair, Naomi, and Iyo Sky. Later, WWE confirmed that Cargill suffered several injuries, announcing she’ll be out of action for an undisclosed amount of time.
Considering the severity of these injuries, Cargill will most likely miss Survivor Series and might not be able to compete inside WarGames. As such, Ripley’s team would have to find a replacement on short notice. At the moment, it seems that Bayley could help Naomi in their battle at the upcoming PLE.
Although Belair could be against the idea of teaming with Bayley, she might have no other option than to oblige. In addition to Belair, Bayley also has issues with her former Damage CTRL teammate, Iyo Sky, who betrayed her earlier this year.
