The go-home SmackDown episode of Survivor Series: WarGames was pre-taped on Friday. During the 22/11 edition of the show, Jade Cargill suffered a brutal parking lot beatdown, which has sidelined her from action. As a result, her position in team Rhea Ripley remained uncertain. According to spoilers, however, a former Women’s Champion has seemingly replaced Cargill in the Women’s WarGames match.
It is none other than Bayley, who was at the scene following the attack on Cargill. Alongside Naomi, The Role Model stood near the ambulance backstage. Moments later, Cargill’s teammate, Bianca Belair, arrived as well and later accompanied her to the local hospital. On next week’s show, a segment involving both women’s WarGames teams will take place.
According to fans in attendance, Liv Morgan accused Bayley of being behind the attack on Cargill. This eventually led to a brawl between both sides. As for Jade Cargill, WWE announced that she suffered several injuries, with her recovery time uncertain. Moreover, the company has seemingly turned this into a “Who dunnit?” storyline as the perpetrator of the attack is still unknown.

Nonetheless, Bayley’s inclusion in the WarGames match isn’t surprising at all. The grand slam champion has feuded with three of the five members of the opposite team for the last few months. However, there is uncertainty surrounding her relationship with her teammates, namely Belair and Iyo Sky. Bayley’s history with both stars has been well documented on WWE programming, which might possibly lead to some tension at Survivor Series.
How the beatdown on Jade Cargill cost her and Bianca Belair golden opportunities
Both Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill were among the favorites to win the newly introduced Women’s United States Championship. Unfortunately, all of that changed in one night. Belair competed in a first-round triple threat match against Blair Davenport and Chelsea Green on SmackDown.
In the closing stretches of the match, Belair looked close to winning. However, the ‘brutalized’ Cargill was shown on titantron, which led to a conflicted Belair hurrying to the back and leaving the match. Green took advantage of the opportunity, advancing to the next round of the tournament.
If that wasn’t enough, WWE later revealed that Cargill was removed from her match owing to the beatdown. As a result, a mystery star will replace Cargill in another triple threat first round match, including Piper Niven and Michin.
