Bayley wants a match against Michael Cole (via WWE)
Surprisingly, Michael Cole has a lot of on-screen beef with many female superstars. He has had run-ins with the likes of Valhalla during his time on Raw. However, his most notable nemeses are Bayley and Chelsea Green. These little interactions have gotten so over with fans that many of them have even started to demand another WrestleMania match from the 56-year-old against these superstars.
During a recent episode of SmackDown, a fan was seen holding his phone behind the commentators. The sign on the phone advocated for Chelsea Green to face off against Cole at the Showcase of the Immortals. Bayley reposted this photo on X and called dibs on facing the Voice of WWE first.
While the 2024 Royal Rumble winner has turned into a babyface in recent times and reduced her interactions with the wrestling veteran, he continues to go off on the current Women’s United Champion. A few months ago, WWE announced that Green would face Michin in a dumpster match. Cole got highly excited by the prospect of the 33-year-old being dumped into trash. He practically started jumping out of his chair and banging the announce table with his hands.

Even on the latest episode of SmackDown, Cole seemed highly dismissive of Green’s act. During her celebration, she came out dressed as Lady Liberty and even had her own presidential seal. Corey Graves was seen standing up with his hand on his heart. He claimed that the Canadian was a gift to their country. However, the commentating veteran seemed exasperated by the show.
The rivalry between Michael Cole and Bayley explained
Bayley and Michael Cole began their “feud” in early 2020. She had recently turned heel at the time but had no live crowd to feed off of due to the pandemic era. She then began to trash-talk the 56-year-old who was seated nearby, commentating on her matches.
This rivalry began as a joke between the two, but WWE officials backstage ended up loving this dynamic. Thus, they encouraged them to keep their banter going. During an earlier interview, the Role Model stated that the only sound she heard during her matches was the breathing and talking of the commentators. Bayley got so irritated by these sounds that she started berating Cole.
The former Women’s Champion has praised Cole for being on board with this type of relationship and taking the abuse she has thrown at him over the years. While this rivalry has relatively died down due to both of them being babyfaces now, it is surely great entertainment for the fans.
