The WWE Universe is very passionate about their favorite superstars and goes above and beyond in their fandom. Many fans even like to cosplay as other wrestlers, and one such fanatic chose Drew McIntyre for this purpose. However, it seems that the 39-year-old wasn’t such a fan.

The fan in question posted a video of himself wearing knockoff gear similar to the kilt, kneepads, and boots worn by The Chosen One. He entered through his doorframe while McIntyre’s music played in the background, and he could be seen walking around his house with the same demeanor and body language. The former WWE Champion re-posted the video, and it seemed like he wished he had never seen it.

McIntyre was seen on the last two episodes of SmackDown despite technically being a Raw superstar. He interrupted a promo by Solo Sikoa and the rest of the Bloodline. The former NXT North American Champion appreciated him for taking out Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso. However, he was still irritated by the interruption. The Scottish Warrior began threatening him for costing him the WWE Undisputed Championship at Clash at the Castle.

The 2020 Royal Rumble winner then changed his tone and appreciated him for standing up to Roman Reigns. He proposed a temporary truce while they went through their respective hit lists and said they would deal with each other afterward. McIntyre was then ambushed by Jimmy Uso, who attacked him with his crutch.

Drew McIntyre was happy that his friends were able to make a full-time living without having to be dependent on WWE. This was not the case when he was fired in 2014. In fact, he was one of the prime examples of superstars who can do well for themselves even after leaving the Stamford-based promotion. He was happy to see how much the industry had grown in the past three years. Furthermore, it was great to see all the places it led to.

To see how much the industry grew in those three years and led to so many places with so many people making a full-time living is awesome.

There were a lot of rumors about McIntyre joining AEW heading into 2024. His contract was coming up, and there were reports about him being dissatisfied with his creative booking. Thankfully for the WWE Universe, he decided to stick it out and has now become one of the most compelling characters as well as the best mic and in-ring workers of the company.
