Charlotte Flair set to return soon? [via- WWE]
With 2025 approaching, WWE has a few big events lined up for January. From the Raw debut on Netflix to the annual Royal Rumble, fans are expecting some huge surprises in the coming weeks. Amongst them, many are speculating the return of Charlotte Flair. The second-generation star has been out of action since December 2023 and is due for a comeback to the squared circle.
Amidst her hiatus, however, Flair posted a cryptic message on her X account. She uploaded a photo of herself looking at some monitors. Moreover, Flair’s caption referenced her boss and WWE CCO, Triple H‘s iconic catchphrase. Interestingly, this isn’t the first time that the fourteen-time World Champion has enticed her fans on social media.
In the past few months, Flair has updated the WWE Universe with workout photos and teases, hinting at her return. For those unaware, Flair suffered a knee injury after tearing her MCL, ACL, and meniscus. This occurred during her match against Asuka on the December 8 edition of last year’s SmackDown.

After facing more than a year on the sidelines, reports of her comeback have intensified in recent weeks. WrestleVotes suggested that Charlotte Flair would return with a character change, specifying a darker side to her ‘Queen’ persona.
Another report stated that plans were in motion for the 38-year-old star to square off against Tiffany Stratton at WrestleMania. Considering the latter’s current direction, it would be safe to assume that Flair might be involved in the World Title picture upon her comeback.

As expected, the internet wrestling community went into a frenzy after Charlotte Flair’s recent post. Due to the caption, some fans pondered whether Flair teased a potential alliance with Triple H. After all, it wouldn’t be the first time that a Flair partnered up with The Game. However, this would be unlikely in the current era of WWE.
Other users thought that this was Flair continuing her subtle teases of returning to WWE programming soon. While most of them predicted a return on the Raw debut on Netflix, a few went as far as to say that she would come back on this week’s SmackDown episode.

One fan joked about Charlotte being the potential SmackDown hacker from years ago. Some fans even began composing lists of potential opponents for The Queen to face once she returns. All in all, the possibility of Flair’s comeback has kept the WWE Universe amped up, as many have missed her presence in the women’s division.
