CM Punk kicked off the latest episode of Monday Night Raw. After weeks of animosity building between the two, Punk talked about Seth Rollins. The Second City Saint called Rollins his failure, referring to the latter’s promo on last week’s episode. This prompted The Visionary to come out from the crowd. Rollins said he wanted to gain the perspective of the audience. However, nothing changed regarding his opinion about Punk.
The Straight Edge Superstar mocked his longtime rival for being his longtime “fan.” In response, Rollins reminded Punk that the ‘fan’ had main-evented more WrestleManias than him. Punk had heard enough and instigated a brawl with the former Universal Champion. Obviously, security and officials came swarming down to separate the duo. However, they still found ways to continue beating each other up.
At one point, Rollins went around the crowd so he could reach Punk, who was on the opposite side. Moments later, The Architect spoke with GM Adam Pearce, requesting a one-on-one match with Punk. Pearce reprimanded Rollins for not being able to keep his hands off The Best in the World.

Last week, Seth Rollins revealed where his hatred for Punk stemmed from. The former Shield member recalled the time Punk departed from WWE in 2014. Rollins had messaged Punk, but the latter did not respond to him. Later, Punk attempted to tear down the company while Rollins carried the place on his back.
Meanwhile, CM Punk seemed inconsiderate about the situation. While Punk did acknowledge Rollins’ achievements during his ten-year absence, he felt that the Grand Slam Champion was just filling his spot. Now that the starter is back, Rollins can go back to the bench. This is all leading to the first match between the pair on an upcoming special occasion.
CM Punk vs. Seth Rollins earmarked for Raw Netflix debut episode
Despite the initial rumors of CM Punk facing Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 41, it seems fans will be getting the match much sooner. Last week, Dr. Chris Featherstone reported on X that Punk vs. Rollins was planned for the debut episode of Raw on Netflix.
This could mean either two things: the rivalry between Punk and Rollins will include more than one match or the feud will conclude on January 6 only. It comes as no surprise that WWE is pulling the trigger on the much-anticipated bout on the upcoming show.
Triple H had stated earlier that the Raw debut on Netflix would be treated like a PLE. Another match announced for the show so far is a Tribal Combat battle between Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa. This will mark Reigns’ first match on the red brand in over two years. Later on the show, Adam Pearce made the match between Punk and Rollins official.
