Triple H reacts to CM Punk vs Seth Rollins (via WWE)
CM Punk facing Seth Rollins is a match that many fans have been dying to see. The match was supposedly going to take place at WrestleMania XL but never came to fruition due to injuries. Nearly a year later, WWE has finally made this match official for Raw’s debut on Netflix.
Triple H posted a photo of the match’s promotion graphic on X and said that this match was years in the making. After all, Rollins and Punk have been intertwined since the very beginning. The Shield debuted at Survivor Series 2012 to crash a WWE championship match which allowed the Best in the World to retain his title. Next year, the faction had a feud against the Voice of the Voiceless. In fact, he is the first and only man to beat the trio in a 1v3 handicap match.
After the Shield broke up, Seth Rollins continued to take shots at Punk even after the latter had left the company. In an interview, the Architect called his rival a cancer and told him to stay away from his promotion.

Thus, Rollins has been marked as a premiere feud for Punk ever since the latter returned to the company. In fact, WWE had already begun dropping teases for this feud on day one of his return and fans are happy that it is finally happening.

The match was made official after the latest episode of Raw. These two rivals had a verbal spat once again. However, this time, things took an extreme turn. Rollins ignited an intense brawl against Punk, and the two beat each other up all over the arena.
CM Punk reminds Paul Heyman of their deal on social media
Paul Heyman had managed to convince CM Punk to join the OG Bloodline team for their WarGames match. However, the Straight Edge Superstar is not known to be so benevolent. He clarified the Hall of Famer would owe him a huge favor for his participation at Survivor Series.
CM Punk recently uploaded an Instagram story featuring Don Vito Corleone, played by Marlon Brando in The Godfather. This story read out “Someday, and that day may never come, I will call upon you to do a service for me.”
Clearly, this story was a subliminal reference to the favor owed to him by Heyman. However, the Wiseman did not seem bothered by this message at all. In fact, he re-posted it on his own Instagram story and added Punk’s entrance theme, Cult of Personality, in the background.
