“Who’s the bootlicker now b*tch?” Seth Rollins’ personal dig at CM Punk almost ensues a brawl during their explosive faceoff at Raw on Netflix kickoff show
It didn't take long for Seth Rollins to remind CM Punk about what he means to him. Their beef spilled over to the Raw on Netflix kickoff.

In a match that was decades in the making, CM Punk and Seth Rollins will finally lock horns on the Netflix premiere of Raw on January 6. This afternoon, the two had an intense faceoff during the Raw on Netflix kickoff event. They even got physical after Rollins called Punk a bootlicker. However, Triple H and Adam Pearce pulled them apart.
Tensions between Punk and Rollins have been simmering for weeks now. This past Monday on Raw, all hell broke loose. At first, The Best in the World mocked Seth for his over-the-top attires. Punk said Rollins comes out tiptoeing in clogs like the Purple Pieman from Porcupine Peak dressed like Liberace. That’s one way to call it. After a while, The Visionary came out but stayed among the attendees.
Rollins said he was trying to get a different perspective of Punk from there. However, he didn’t find anything new and quipped that the 46-year-old is still an a**hole. To gaslight Punk even further, The Architect, referring to himself as a fan, affirmed that he has more WrestleMania main events than Punk will have in his lifetime. That said, The Second City Saint made a beeline for Seth.
The security backup wasn’t enough to contain the superstars at loggerheads. After minutes of mugging, they were finally separated. In the aforementioned Raw on Netflix presser, Michael Cole confirmed that Punk vs. Rollins will headline the first-ever Raw on Netflix.
An interesting stat suggests that it’d be Punk’s first match on Raw since 2013. In some other news, The Best in the World, when asked by Cole about that favor that Paul Heyman owes to him, Punk joked he needs Heyman’s Netflix password to watch season 2 of The Heels.
WWE has big plans for CM Punk at WrestleMania 41
With Seth Rollins in his crosshairs, CM Punk has vowed to teach him a wrestling lesson that he asked for when Seth was 16 for free. They’ll square off in about three weeks time on Raw. However, where does that leave Punk in the hunt for WrestleMania 41?
A new report from WrestleVotes claims that WWE has long wanted to have him featured in a world title match. If that’s truly it, there’s no lead to how WWE will get there. There’s been some chatter about Roman Reigns potentially ending up as Punk’s WrestleMania opponent.
Some fans are speculating that the heavily talked-about favor that Paul Heyman owes to his former client will be something along those lines. At some point, that’ll be addressed on WWE television. It may have major implications.
