The first episode of Raw after Survivor Series: WarGames kicked off with a heated 30-minute stretch. Following the brawl between CM Punk and Seth Rollins, Jey Uso and Sami Zayn came out to separate both sides. This led to Rollins calling out both OG Bloodline members for teaming with not only Punk but also Roman Reigns. As such, Zayn confronted Rollins about his frustrations.
The former Bloodline member said that he didn’t want to team with Punk at Survivor Series. Instead, he wanted to be side by side with Rollins inside WarGames. However, the latter declined the offer on multiple occasions, leaving him with no choice but to accept Punk. The Visionary then reiterated why he didn’t join the OG Bloodline at Survivor Series, claiming that he didn’t intend to bring Reigns back to power.
In response, Zayn called out Rollins for creating a monster in Reigns when he betrayed The Shield a decade ago. The former Universal Champion admitted that he played a part but recalled when Zayn did the same thing at last year’s Royal Rumble. This eventually led to The Honorary Uce challenging Rollins to a match, which the latter accepted for later that night.
“Let me remind you something else, that monster Roman Reigns, YOU created that monster.”

At Survivor Series, Punk, The Usos, and Sami Zayn emerged victorious alongside Reigns inside WarGames. Although he didn’t fully reclaim his power, all four men did help The OTC get closer to regaining his power. Interestingly, The Bloodline saga continues to affect the path of top stars in WWE, with the likes of Drew McIntyre and Kevin Owens changing character due to the storyline.
Will Seth Rollins turn heel following his intense segment with Sami Zayn?
Considering how the opening segment on Raw played out, it seems that Seth Rollins is headed in the same trajectory as McIntyre and Owens. The Visionary feels that he is right in confronting Sami Zayn for rejoining The Bloodline. However, the blame was somehow inflicted on him.
As such, this might lead to Rollins turning heel in the near future. Moreover, this could kickstart his WrestleMania feud with CM Punk. Since the latter’s return, WWE has heavily teased this direction for the Showcase of Immortals.
Another reason why Rollins’ heel turn would work is for his eventual rivalry with Roman Reigns down the line. The former Shield members have taken shots at each other for the past couple of years or so; hence, it looks as if the marquee bout is inevitable.
