WWE is prepared to host its biggest episode of Raw ever on January 6th, as the red brand makes its debut on Netflix. The promotion already has several marquee matches planned for the episode, and now there is a lot of debate as to which bout should be closing the show.
According to a report by WrestleVotes Radio, Roman Reigns vs. Solo Sikoa is set to main event the episode. On a recent episode of SmackDown, the OTC called out his arch nemesis. They are now set to compete for the Ula Fala on the first episode of Raw next year.
This report was quite shocking to fans. A few days ago, WWE held a media event pertaining to the premiere of Raw on Netflix. This event featured a confrontation between Seth Rollins and CM Punk. During the showdown, Michael Cole said that the Architect vs. the Best in the World would be the main event of the show. However, this is reportedly false.
The main event for the debut episode of #WWERAW on Netflix remains Roman Reigns v Solo Sikoa.

Of course, this news coming to light immediately fired up the rumor mill. Fan theories suggest that Roman Reigns vs. Solo Sikoa being the main event indicates a high chance that The Rock may show up during or after the match. Either way, fans are in for a great show in January.
CM Punk comments on Raw moving to Netflix
Netflix has recently been making severe strides to enter the world of live streaming. Thus, getting the WWE onto their platform was an easy decision for them. Raw moving over to the streaming giant is a huge milestone for both parties, and CM Punk recently gave his thoughts on the subject.
Speaking at the Raw on Netflix event, CM Punk recalled the times of the territory days. While the shows were packing stadiums, nobody ever thought that these shows were ever going to make it to cable TV. Eventually, they got it done, and even the recent Saturday Night’s Main Event on NBC was a huge success.
The Voice of the Voiceless opined that Netflix was a similar turning point in the history of professional wrestling. During the 1980s, Saturday Night’s Main Event did a great job in attracting newer audiences to the product. The 46-year-old believed that moving over to online streaming would do the same thing.
