WATCH: Charles Leclerc gets into a huge CRASH at the Hungarian GP FP2 session

Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc hit the barriers during a push lap in the Hungarian Grand Prix FP2 session. The Monegasque has reportedly not sustained any injuries, despite severe damage to the SF-24.
Charles Leclerc has endured a significant dip in form since his race-winning heroics at the Monaco Grand Prix. But, the 26-year-old showed promising signs in Budapest after finishing P3 at the end of FP1.
Leclerc crashed onto the barriers, having failed to find grip at the apex of a corner at the Hungaroring. The crash brought out the red flags, putting the session to an abrupt halt.
The Maranello-based outfit will now try their best to repair the damaged SF-24 ahead of FP3 on Saturday. Leclerc will be hopeful of making good runs hereon to salvage his woes for the ongoing campaign.
Zhou Guanyu spins out after getting impeded by Sergio Perez in FP2
While Leclerc crashed into the barriers at the Hungaroring, Stake F1 driver, Zhou Guanyu also experienced a slightly similar fate. He spun out to the gravel after being impeded by Red Bull’s Sergio Perez in FP2. Guanyu was, however, able to bring his car back on track, avoiding any major damages.

Sergio Perez‘s reaction on the radio is proof of the Mexican’s unawareness during Zhou Guanyu‘s flying lap. The latter appeared extremely infuriated with the six-time Grand Prix winner after the incident.
Guaynu heads into the Hungarian GP looking to secure his first points of the 2024 season. On the other hand, Perez is under pressure to churn out a positive result amidst his incessant Red Bull sacking rumors. Keeping everything in view, quite a few eyes will be glued on the exploits of the two drivers during the rest of the Hungary event.
