Aston Martin’s form in the 2024 season has been dissatisfactory, to say the least. This season was an extremely unpleasant turnaround in performance compared to their dominant start to the 2023 season. Fernando Alonso has still amassed some impressive results while Lance Stroll continues to face a torrid time.
Former Haas team principal Guenther Steiner took a dig at Lance Stroll‘s disappointing performance in the 2024 season. Stroll has managed to score 24 points in the 2024 season and finds himself in the 11th spot in the standings.
The Canadian driver has crashed out his chassis on multiple occasions, costing the team dearly. Speaking on Stroll’s 2024 performances, Guenther Steiner claimed that it was ‘weird’ that the 25-year-old completely passed under everyone’s radar.

Guenther Steiner claimed Lance Stroll is ‘rarely spoken about’ even when finishing in points
Lance Stroll had a few good performances in the 2023 season and received some applause. However, the Canadian has not had a memorable performance this season and probably would not do it anytime soon. Guenther Steiner believed that Stroll was one of those drivers who is rarely talked about despite finishing in points.
With Aston Martin’s acquisition of Adrian Newey, the team is hopeful of a better time in the coming seasons. The aero-genius is expected to help the Silverstone-based constructor score a massive turnaround in performance. Additionally, Stroll will have to work extremely hard on his form to gain the people’s respect.
