Ferrari is one of the biggest names in Formula 1. The outfit has been competing in the sport since 1950, and there is a lot that comes with being a driver for them. Carlos Sainz has recently shed light on the same ahead of Lewis Hamiton‘s arrival next year.

The Brit has taken the place of the Spaniard on the team and he will partner up with Charles Leclerc. With Carlos Sainz on the way out, he feels extremely grateful to have had the chance to drive for Ferrari for four years.

I'm actually trying to do is try to embrace the busy-ness of the weekend, but also how hectic it is, how many Tifosi you come across, and how much time you spend with them and signing and receiving their support to actually give you the energy and enjoy the moment.

The 29-year-old further went on to add the following.

It's a lot busier, but you can see it both ways. Oh, so busy. I don't have time for myself. Or you can see it in a positive way, which is this is a one life time opportunity that I've been lucky enough to do for four years. Try and enjoy it. Embrace it.

Ferrari is a huge brand and is recognized all over the globe. In light of this, their former driver Sebastian Vettel once said an iconic phrase that every now and then, is still used in F1. ‘Everyone is a Ferrari fan, even if they are not, they are a Ferrari fan.’ Moreover, keeping in view the personality Lewis Hamilton has become, the scenes will be surreal in Maranello when he is seen repping the Red Gear.

Williams keen on having Carlos Sainz in their car in Abu Dhabi

We still have to agree terms with Ferrari, he’s under contract at Ferrari until the end of 2024. However, I do hope to see him in the car in Abu Dhabi.

The signing of the three-time Grand Prix winner Sainz, is a huge deal for the Grove-based Williams team. He will partner up with Alex Albon to make an extremely strong pair for the coming years.

2025 will be a fascinating year as the grid has got a major shake-up courtesy of the chaotic 2024 driver market. From Sainz’s perspective, the job will be still the same to drive as fast as possible and help Williams make their mark once again in the F1.
