Sergio Perez‘s woeful performances throughout the 2024 season have put the Mexican’s future under extreme fire from most people on the grid. Perez is highly likely to be ousted from the team by the coming season and replaced by an RB driver. Yuki Tsunoda was rumored to test for Red Bull following the culmination of the 2024 season.

Liam Lawson has also put forth promising results after replacing Daniel Ricciardo at the US GP. Hence, both drivers will have to perform better than the other to move up the Red Bull chain. Tsunoda has put forth a highly consistent performance this season compared to his Aussie counterpart.

Yuki Tsunoda greatly deserves a move up the Red Bull family despite a contract extension for one year. Moreover, Tsunoda’s performance has also granted him to be considered for rival teams on the grid. Hence, time will tell about the 23-year-old’s future fares with the Austrian constructor in Formula 1.
