Stake F1 team driver Zhou Guanyu met with Spanish Tennis superstar Carlos Alcaraz at the 2024 Shanghai Masters. Alcaraz is currently ranked No. 2 in the world in singles by the Association of Tennis Professionals.
Zhou Guanyu is known to have a keen interest in Tennis and has met with several professionals associated with the sport. The Chinese player saw his first-ever tennis match between Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz at Wimbledon earlier this year.
The two professionals paid respect to each other’s professions while sharing some heartfelt words as well. Guanyu wished Alcaraz the best of luck in order to excel at the ATP tour, which is currently being held in Shanghai.

Guanyu is currently on a poor spell, failing to score a single point so far this season. The 25-year-old does not have a contract for 2025 and thus, will have to notch good results to have any chance of securing a contract extension with the Hinwii-based team.
Valtteri Bottas ready to compete in an unusual world championship
Finnish driver Valtteri Bottas has qualified for the World Gravel Championship in cycling and will compete in the sport during the ongoing F1 break. Bottas has expressed a keen interest in cycling many times in the past.
Valtteri Bottas is currently without a contract for the upcoming season in light of the recent downfall of performances. Bottas, along with his teammate Zhou Guanyu, are the only two drivers without a single point so far this season.
Bottas is competing along with his wife, Tiffany Cromwell, who was a part of the Australian women’s cycling team at the Olympics this year. The Finnish driver will compete in the 35-38 year range at the World Gravel Championship.
