Lewis Hamilton’s former teammate breaks silence on Red Bull rumors for 2025
Lewis Hamilton's former teammate Valtteri Bottas is allegedly in the running to replace Sergio Perez at Red Bull.

Valtteri Bottas partnered Lewis Hamilton at Mercedes from 2017 to 2021. The Finnish driver played the ideal role of a second driver at the Silver Arrows. Now, rumors have emerged that Red Bull might be interested in signing Bottas who recently lost his seat at Sauber.
Red Bull is reportedly looking to replace Sergio Perez for 2025. Milton Keynes wants a suitable teammate for Max Verstappen. Liam Lawson is believed to the at the front of the pack for this seat. Though, Bottas too seems to have a chance.
Valtteri Bottas confessed that some people have asked him if he was joining Red Bull next season. The 35-year-old asserted that he was unaware of such a possibility. The Finnish driver made it clear that for the time being, a move to Milton Keynes was mere speculation.
Red Bull ‘doesn’t like’ Valtteri Bottas
Bottas made a bold claim regarding his image at the Austrian team. The 35-year-old was convinced that some people at Red Bull were not particularly fond of him. Valtteri Bottas did not explicitly mention any person. Subsequently, the Finn mentioned that it was highly unlikely that Milton Keynes was interested in signing him to replace Perez.
The 35-year-old has seemed to have faded away during his time at Sauber. Valtteri Bottas does not have a seat for 2025. There have also been reports that the Finn could take up a reserve driver role at Mercedes to stay in the loop. However, fans would need to wait and see where Bottas is truly headed next year.
