Formula 1 is no stranger to celebrities. Many stars often to a Grand Prix weekend to experience the thrill of the pinnacle of motorsport. Tennis icon Novak Djokovic became the latest sporting star to mark his presence in the paddock.

Djokovic was spotted in the paddock at the Qatar GP. The Lusail race takes place this weekend, and is the penultimate race of the season. Novak Djokovic was wearing sporty outfit, depicting a scene of Tennis on his pullover. A classic pair of white sneakers completed the fit.

Formula 1 posted two pictures of the Tennis legend on its official X handle. The caption gave a subtle nod to Djokovic’s legacy, as it wrote that the 37-year-old was ready to ‘serve’ some track action this weekend in Lusail.

Novak Djokovic meets F1’s Pierre Gasly

The first driver Djokovic met this weekend was not Max Verstappen or Lewis Hamilton. The Tennis icon got together with Alpine’s Pierre Gasly. Novak Djokovic posted a story on Instagram, explaining that the two had a pleasant conversation discussing their need for speed. The two were present in a sponsor event by Qatar Airways and were pictured in front of an airplane simulator.

It seems Djokovic has a good relationship with Pierre Gasly. The 37-year-old would be hoping that Gasly can have a positive race in Qatar. However, it remains to be seen if Novak Djokovic gets together with Hamilton or Verstappen over the course of the weekend.
