The Frenchman was on par to win the race if it wasn’t for the red flag due to Franco Colapinto’s crash. Hence, Max Verstappen was spotted talking highly of the ‘fast’ paced Ocon in the Drivers’ cooldown room following the culmination of the race.
Verstappen told Ocon that he was very fast. The former even joked that the Frenchman’s speed seemed so superior that he was ready to accept finishing in second if the Red Flag wasn’t pulled out.
