Nico Rosberg in awe of Lewis Hamilton’ ‘INSANE’ last-lap overtake on George Russell at Abu Dhabi GP
The Ex-F1 driver was Lewis Hamilton's teammate at Mercedes and seeing the latter's recent Abu Dhabi GP move, he was in total awe of the Brit.

Lewis Hamilton, the man who produced numerous unbelievable moments with Mercedes, has finally bid farewell to the team. He will move to Ferrari from 2025 onwards, but in his final race with the Brackley outfit in Abu Dhabi, he produced a sensational drive from P16 to P4.
By the closing stages of the 58-lap race, Lewis Hamilton had caught up to the back of his teammate George Russell, who was running in P4. Moreover, after a few attempts, Hamilton finally managed to make the move on the last lap on the young Brit.
People were in utter shock at the daring move from the 39-year-old, and the same was the case for his ex-Mercedes teammate Nico Rosberg. In the post-race proceedings, he talked about the move.

Looking at the extremely upbeat reaction of the 2016 world champion, it is quite clear that he was very impressed with Hamilton’s move. The latter’s Russell overtake was one of the many that he pulled off during his mega drive from 16th place to fourth place in the extremely exciting race at the Yas Marina circuit.

Hamilton will be seen repping the Red of Ferrari at the inaugural race of the 2025 F1 season, the Australian GP. His fans have already started counting down the days to what will be another memorable day for the F1 community as well as for the Brit himself.
The seven-time world champion will partner up with Charles Leclerc on the Maranello-based team. The expectations will be high from the duo and it will be fascinating to see how well they would jell together within the Italian giants setup.
