Lando Norris is a rising star in F1 who is from Surrey, England, and is currently residing in Monaco stating Financial reasons behind the move away from England. Norris has moved to Monaco in 2022 and has bought a spacious apartment for himself. He has done the same thing that many of the other F1 drivers have done.

Lando Norris has followed in the footsteps of drivers like Max Verstappen, Charles Leclerc, Lewis Hamilton, and even his ex-teammate Daniel Ricciardo who all has moved to Monaco because of the tax heaven it has become in recent time.

It has over the years become a trend for Formula One drivers to move to Monaco as it is not only tax heaven but also is closer to most of the European venues where races are held on a regular basis.

Why did Lando Norris move to Monaco?

The 22-year-old has previously on his move to Monaco has stated that “moving to Monaco is something that obviously a lot of drivers do.” He made this decision with his future in mind as well. He also addressed the criticism about moving to tax heaven and pointed out that it’s not like that.

So not an easy decision. But it’s still a life decision, and there are so many things that do change from it. Of course, I’ll understand and there’s going to be some [criticisms] for sure. But people do many things in life for money. This is just another one.

Lando Norris being a racing driver is usually on the go for most part of the year so for him to move to Monaco must have felt like something he needed to do in order to spend some time by himself in the off-season from F1.
