Formula 1 has been growing at the rate of knots, especially since the 2021 season. The seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton has played a huge role in the growth of the sport. While it is reaching all corners of the world with each passing year, Hamilton has called for making F1 more accessible to the people.

The ticket prices for Formula 1 events are skyrocketing because of the increase in popularity. Keeping this in view, Lewis Hamilton feels the lower working class is not able to access the marquee events.

Well, the more eyeballs on this sport, it’s not a bad thing. I would say that races like some European races for example, when you’ve got people that are coming in, it’s less celebrity. There’s still a lot of celebs that do turn up into the group. I think we always need to make sure that it’s accessible, that it’s not too, so far out of reach for people that also work very hard for their money, but cannot afford to get to the race weekend.
