The third edition of the United Cup will kick start on December 27 and it features top players from both ATP and WTA.

Following the off-season, the top players across both men’s and women’s tennis are back on the court again to play official matches. The third edition of the United Cup, which starts on Friday (December 22) this year will be wrapped on January 5 next year.
The mixed-gender event will be held at the RAC Arena in Perth and at the Sydney Olympic Park Tennis Centre in Sydney Australia. The matches in Perth will be played from December 27, while those in Sydney will start on December 28.
Top players, the likes of Iga Swiatek, Coco Gauff, Elena Rybakina, Alexander Zverev, and Taylor Fritz are part of this tournament. The prize pool for the 2025 United Cup is $10,250,000. In the inaugural United Cup, the United States defeated Italy 4-0 in the final, while in the second edition, Germany beat Poland 2-1.
United Cup teams
The tournament features 18 teams, divided into six groups. Three teams are placed in each group. The top teams from each group will then advance to the next round, that is the quarterfinals. In every tie, an ATP singles match, a WTA singles match, and a one-mixed doubles match will be played.

United Cup schedule
The matches in the morning in both Perth and Sydney are scheduled to start at 10 am local time. The evening sessions on the other hand won’t start before 5:30 pm.
