Who is Jannik Sinner’s current coach?

The general norm in the world of tennis is to have one primary coach and other technical coaches. However, Jannik Sinner prefers to have different opinions, so he has taken a different approach. The Italian has two main coaches, namely Simone Vagnozzi and Darren Cahill, who have different roles in his team.

While Vagnozzi looks after the technical and physical aspects of the game, Cahill looks after the mental aspect of the game. However, their responsibilities are not solely limited to those aspects and they work together to uplift and enhance Sinner’s performance. Simone Vagnozzi and Darren Cahill have been the coaches of Jannik Sinner since 2022 and the Italian has seen sensational results under their guidance.

Who has coached Jannik Sinner so far in his career?

Jannik Sinner appointed his first serious coach Riccardo Piatti when he was just 13 years old. Piatti used to be the part-time coach of Milos Raonic and Novak Djokovic. He was responsible for nurturing Sinner’s base as a tennis player, which was done exquisitely. Around the same time, Sinner also started to work with Andrea Volpini and Massimo Sarto.

After a few years, he kept Piatti as his main coach and Massimo Sarto as his second coach. Claudio Zimaglia and fitness coach Dalibor Sirola were also part of Sinner’s team. In 2022, he dissolved his former team and appointed Simone Vagnozzi first in February, and then Darren Cahill in July.
