Errani shared her thoughts on Kyrgios’ remarks. She admitted to enjoying the Australian’s entertaining style of play but expressed disappointment with his harsh comments on Sinner. The Australian’s strong words about the doping case did not sit well with her.
I don’t know him personally. He has a very strong personality and I’ve always liked him. Watching him play is a spectacle. Thinking about my personality, I shouldn’t like him, but I like him. Lately, he’s made some negative and unfortunate comments: in this case, I don’t like him that much. I’m not just talking about what he said about Sinner. He’s made some pretty strong statements. All this while he’s not present is played less… he seems self-centered and I don’t like him very much.

Kyrgios has been vocal since news broke about Sinner’s positive test for clostebol at Indian Wells last March. He has frequently criticized the World No. 1 in the media and has shown no signs of backing down.
