Novak Djokovic‘s wife, Jelena Djokovic – previously Ristic – has his Novak Djokovic’s wife since July 2014, after meeting him in high school. The pair started dating in 2005 and became engaged in September of that year. Stefan, their son, was born in October 2014, and Djokovic revealed he was a father for the third time three years later.
Tara, the couple’s first child, was born in September 2017, and Jelena was conspicuously absent from the player’s box during her husband’s Wimbledon matches that year. Jelena is an avid Instagram user who updates her feed on a daily basis. She is also the director of the Novak Djokovic Foundation, which strives to assist Serbian youngsters in achieving their goals by strengthening the country’s educational system.

A Jelena Ristic described her early connection with Novak Djokovic as “science fiction.” Jelena remembers she was a student just scraping by, and Novak was a very young tennis star who, like him, had little money to waste on extravagant excursions. Airplanes were, at the time, absolutely out of reach for them. They developed, devised, and invented these strategies for meeting, for making their relationship work.
Jelena finished her studies and the two moved live together in Monte Carlo. Since Jelena started at a high level in the oil company, their relationship was strained. They couldn’t spend time together because of their schedules. That’s when Jelena made the decision to leave her job. She now feels that if she hadn’t resigned, the relationship would not have progressed.
Djokovic, who currently has won 23 Grand Slam titles, will look to complete a calendar slam this year. He is currently No.1 in the all-time men’s list of majors won and will look to add a few more to his tally. Novak Djokovic’s parents are Dijana and Srdjan Djokovic and he was raised in a very adverse pro-war environment.
