Sean Strickland is undoubtedly one of the more jovial characters in the UFC promotion. Over the years, the UFC community has observed his friendships with several fighters. One notable friend and teammate of Strickland is ‘Action Man’ Chris Curtis. However, recently, Curtis made accusations against his upcoming opponent, claiming that they had sent spies to their training camp.

As the new year approaches, exciting UFC fight nights are on the horizon. The first fight night will feature a headliner bout between Mackenzie Dern and Amanda Ribas. On the undercard, Chris Curtis is scheduled to face off against the Russian fighter Roman Kopylov. However, leading up to the fight, Curtis has expressed some concerns regarding Kopylov’s behavior and antics.

Couple weeks ago, 2 Russians show up looking to be part of the team. After 2 weeks they vanish as soon as Kopylov comes to town and are now training together. Scumbag move Kopylov.

Curtis is one of those fighters who made his way to the promotion through the Dana White Contender Series. Although his initial fights in the UFC were impressive, the Action Man’s recent performance has been quite concerning. He is coming off a defeat against Brendan Allen in his last fight. As a result, his upcoming fight against Kopylov might be very important to him.

As a member of Team Xtreme Couture, Curtis trains alongside some of the elite fighters in the world. One of his teammates is former UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland, and they share a strong bond.

Leading up to fights, these elite fighters often participate in numerous training sessions together and develop game plans for their upcoming opponents. However, Curtis was quite displeased when he discovered that Kopylov had infiltrated his pre-fight camp.

When coach Eric Nicksick had to step in between Sean Strickland and Chris Curtis’ beef

Team Xtreme Couture was founded over a decade ago by UFC legend Randy Couture. Eric Nicksick serves as the head coach and has trained several top MMA fighters throughout the years. Notable fighters from Team Xtreme Couture include Francis Ngannou, Sean Strickland, Jiri Prochazka, and Miesha Tate. While the majority share a great camaraderie with each other, there were a few beefs as well.

A few months ago, Chris Curtis blocked Strickland on social media for reasons that remain undisclosed. In response, the former UFC middleweight champion shared his disappointment. Amid their ongoing back-and-forth exchanges, their coach, Nicksick, intervened and made a humorous comment under one of Strickland’s posts.

I can’t leave town for one minute?! Just wait till Dad gets home to straighten you two out.

It appears that both Strickland and Curtis have resolved their differences and ended their animosity towards each other. In fact, the ‘Action Man’ recently shared a picture of himself training with the former UFC middleweight champion. With this in mind, it will be interesting to see if Curtis can reverse his previous defeat in his upcoming fight against Kopylov.
