UFC has historically attracted a variety of celebrities from all around the world. Giants from other industries often show up at events to support their favorite fighters. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg is definitely one of them and was recently seen with the BMF champion Max Holloway.
Mark Zuckerberg has been following the sport for some time now and was previously seen with many top fighters. In the past, he has collaborated with the likes of Alexander Volkanovski and Israel Adesanya. As a result, fight fans weren’t that surprised to see him train with Holloway this time.
Other than being a regular viewer, Zuckerberg has taken his passion for MMA to the next step and has been training with professionals. In the pictures, he was seen doing the same with Holloway and having a good time. Zuckerberg was there at UFC 300 to show his support for Holloway, where the fighter won in a dominant fashion.
Holloway’s last outing, however, at UFC 308, didn’t go as planned, and he got knocked out for the first time. The ‘Blessed’ lost his opportunity to get back the featherweight title and has now decided to move up to the lightweight division. It won’t be surprising to see Zuckerberg’s octagon side the next time Holloway makes his UFC return.
How UFC changed Mark Zuckerberg’s idea of freedom of speech
Mark Zuckerberg’s initial appearances at UFC events caught everyone by surprise; however, he later became a frequent part. The founder of Facebook has also created a great relationship with UFC CEO Dana White, which is based upon mutual respect and admiration. White has also hinted at potential collaboration between them in order to tackle the inconsistent pound-for-pound rankings with AI.
It’s clear that Zuckerberg has become a huge fan of MMA, and it has definitely changed him as an individual. Popular politician Vivek Ramaswamy recently shared his meeting with Zuckerberg and shed light on their conversation. Ramaswamy talked about helping Zuckerberg draw parallels between fighting and free speech.
