The holiday season has arrived, with no major events scheduled until the calendar flips to 2025. The MMA community had a chance to relax and celebrate with loved ones. Many in the UFC ranks, both past and present thus got into the Christmas spirit to close out 2024.

Across 10 countries and five continents, the UFC staged 42 events in 21 different cities in 2024. There were 517 fights in 12 different weight classes (including catchweight) within those events from Dana White and Co. These 517 fights totaled 101 hours, 32 minutes, and 25 seconds in the cage.

The championship gold changed guard quite a few times. While in other cases, it stayed the same with stupendous knockout wins and hard-fought brawls. The milestone UFC 300 PPV event was a record-setting mark for the promotion. It was something to feel extra Christmas-ey about.

The all-time rockstar Georges St-Pierre posted some workout snippets again, before separately making Christmas posts. No “Rush” but he seems anything but 43.

Stoic and silent Alex ‘Poatan’ Pereira got a few rounds of Christmas spirit in before stepping into 2025. The Brazilian had a historic year with three title defenses. Here’s hoping the next year goes the same way. Funnyman peer Johnny Walker also posed up for the family photos.
