Known as ‘Bones,’ he has consistently embodied an intimidating presence inside the octagon, captivating opponents. However, a recent incident revealed a surprising contrast to his fearsome reputation. In an unexpected moment, Jon Jones appeared visibly shaken and fearful.

The heavyweight champion was recently featured in a video by popular YouTuber Alex G Was Here, who is known for creating luxury content. In the 46-minute video posted on his channel, ‘Bones’ drives a $5 million Bugatti Chiron. However, surprisingly, Jon Jones appeared fearful during the ride. As such, Bones expressed concern for his safety when the supercar experienced a spinout while he was behind the wheel.

In a widely circulated clip from the video, Jones expressed his reasons for feeling scared while riding in the $5 million Bugatti Chiron. The 37-year-old UFC champion explained that he didn’t want to risk his life by further accelerating on the pedal. As such, he needs to take care of his family, which might be completely understandable.

Jon Jones has been a dominant force in the UFC and is regarded as one of the most successful MMA fighters in history. Throughout his career, he has worked hard to provide for his family. Recently, Jones defended his UFC heavyweight title for the first time, defeating Stipe Miocic. Interestingly, keeping in mind this recent supercar moment, ‘Bones’ has had a troubled past with cars.

When Jon Jones faced felony charges in a hit-and-run case

Jon ‘Bones’ Jones has a history of several controversial behaviors. Over the years, the UFC community has witnessed him being involved in multiple drug test failures, DUI incidents, and felony charges. Notably, one such incident occurred in 2015 when Jones was involved in a hit-and-run case in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

According to the police report, witnesses stated that a man matching Jones’ description exited a silver SUV that collided with a woman’s vehicle. He then stopped briefly to collect a large handful of cash before stuffing it into his pants and fleeing the scene. Following this incident, Jones faced felony charges. However, the reigning UFC heavyweight champion didn’t face any major punishment for that.

Months later, Jones pled guilty to leaving the scene of an accident that resulted in injuries. Despite this, the American fighter avoided jail time and was granted a conditional discharge. He was sentenced to up to 18 months of supervised probation and required to make 72 speaking appearances.
