Jon Jones is undoubtedly the biggest active superstar on the current UFC roster. As expected, his potential heavyweight title unification bout with Tom Aspinall is something that the majority of fight fans are desperate to see. While some fans have accused Jones of ducking the challenger, Dana White has recently shared some positive updates about the fight.

Following the fight, Jones made it clear that he had no plans to face rising star Aspinall. However, UFC CEO Dana White recently addressed the potential matchup, giving his approval for the fight to happen.

Aspinall has done everything in his power to get the heavyweight title shot and is eager to fight Jones. If it happens, Jones is expected to get a massive paycheck; however, that doesn’t matter to the Brit. In a recent interview, the interim champion shed light on this matter.

It’s happening. It’s gonna be the biggest fight in UFC history…I don’t really care about money at this point. I want to make as much money as I can but to me what’s more important is to unify the belts.
