Dana White – Donald Trump and Joe Rogan – Elon Musk remains two of the most prominent connections. Recently, UFC commentator Rogan took to X to share his thoughts on Tesla CEO Musk’s hints about a possible acquisition of Microsoft NBC (MSNBC).
Comcast is reportedly putting MSNBC up for sale. This news led Donald Trump Jr. to tag Elon Musk, who has a strong relationship with his father, Donald Trump, in a tweet encouraging him to make a purchase. Naturally, the tweet gained widespread attention and even caught the eye of Joe Rogan. The longtime UFC commentator humorously responded that he wanted Rachel Maddow‘s $30 million job.

Rachel Maddow is an American TV hosts and news anchors, known for her show on MSNBC. However, Rogan, who has a strong animosity toward the cable network, does not view Maddow as an honest individual, as indicated by his recent tweet about her. On the other hand, Rogan has always had a close relationship with Tesla CEO Elon Musk. The duo recently had another viral podcast episode together.

During their podcast episode together, Rogan and Musk discussed several intriguing topics and developed a close friendship. As a result, the Tesla CEO even secured Rogan’s endorsement for Trump. Rogan may have asked Musk for Maddow’s position at MSNBC because of their growing rapport. However, it’s worth noting that Rogan is not particularly a fan of the popular cable network.
Joe Rogan expresses disappointment with MSNBC
Well-known podcaster and UFC commentator Joe Rogan frequently talks about various trending political issues on his show, the Joe Rogan Experience. On several occasions, Rogan has made it clear that he is willing to engage in political discussions.
Nonetheless, he wants to prevent others from misrepresenting his statements for their own purposes. Regrettably, Rogan felt this occurred recently when MSNBC attempted to promote a narrative in favor of Vice President Kamala Harris.
During a previous episode, he praised former congressman Tulsi Gabbard. It appears that MSNBC edited his remarks to create the impression that he was complimenting Kamala Harris. Interestingly, Gabbard later revealed this manipulation by the cable news network. Upon discovering this, Rogan seemed to express his dissatisfaction. Consequently, the podcaster criticized MSNBC for altering the footage.

Rogan thought it was a deliberate attempt to promote a specific narrative. There were initially multiple speculations regarding the UFC commentator’s intention to file a lawsuit against MSNBC as well. However, he chose not to pursue that option. Regarding the news channel, they promptly released a correction, stating that the viral video had been taken down from their social media account.
