“I ain’t doing that sh*t” D’Angelo Russell takes savage shot at ex-Lakers teammate Nick Young over boxing challenge
Nick Young and D'Angelo Russell
Minnesota Timberwolves D’Angelo Russell back fired at his former Los Angeles Lakers teammate Nick Young. The Golden State Warriors player, Nick recently said the guard player is the one he would want to fight in boxing. Nick was talking in an interview on the podcast, “Boxing with Chris Mannix.”
During the interview when Nick was asked about the player he would like boxing with, he said his former teammate D’Angelo Russell’s name without any hesitation. After a few days when Nick Young made this comment, his ex Los Angeles Lakers teammate Russell tweeted, “My name keep dude relevant, and I’m going to grave with ‘I ain’t do that shit.” Even though he didn’t mention anyone’s name in the tweet, it can easily be presumed that it was for Nick Young.
In a past beef, Russell had recorded a video wherein Nick had admitted that that he cheated on his former fiancée Iggy Azalea. However, this video was leaked in public and Russell was adamant that he had no idea as to how this video was leaked. The duo’s relationship became bitter and sour since this incident. Nick hasn’t responded to Russell’s tweet yet but he may soon react and keep the beef going on.
Minnesota Timberwolves sign young rookie players
The Minnesota Timberwolves made a couple of signings in the last month. CJ Elleby and Luka Garza are the young additions to the roster yet they have a difficult task to make it to the playing five. The signings can prove to be effective as both the players have a substantial record and handle the ball well. They have a good shooting average as well and the Timberwolves will look to make a mark in the up coming 2022-2023 season.
CJ Elleby was with the Portland trailblazers last season, averaging 5.8 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game in 58 games. Luka Garza played for Detroit Pistons, averaging 5.8 points on 44.9% shooting and 3.1 rebounds per game in 32 games. It will be interesting to see how these two players perform for the Minnesota Timberwolves this season when the team has got a solid Big Three too.
