Trae Young put on another fantastic effort at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday night as the Atlanta Hawks upset the New York Knicks 108-100 in the NBA Cup quarterfinals. Toward the end of the game, Young mocked the Knicks by pretending to roll dice on the logo.

NBA star Draymond Green shared his emotions after being shocked by that move. Green discussed a range of subjects about the NBA and its players on his podcast. According to the Warriors star, Young’s game-changing theatrics caught him off guard.

Trae Young owns the New York Knicks… and that man went and started shooting dice in the middle of the court on the logo. This man is a menace. He must be stopped.

Draymond Green said

Young has long been the Knicks’ most prominent public opponent and is unlikely to lose his position as the team’s top player soon following his stunt at the logo. He concluded this game with 22 points, five rebounds, 11 assists, and one steal.

Instead of the Knicks, the 26-year-old wanted to let them know that he and his squad are now heading to Las Vegas for the semifinals. Young and the Knicks’ supporters have a long-standing feud.

You did something similar on the home court earlier this season. Take “Yall a**es home,” Young ordered the Knicks supporters. However, the Hawks’ journey came to an end in the NBA Cup as they lost to the Milwaukee Bucks in the semifinals in Las Vegas.

Former Knick Isaiah Hartenstein chimes in on Trae Young’s antics at MSG

It’s safe to say that the Atlanta Hawks star Trae Young‘s antics at Madison Square Garden did not go down well with many current as well as former Knicks stars. One of them being former knick Isaiah Hartenstein in particular. The current Oklahoma City Thunder star shared his views on Young’s antics in an interview with Stefan Bondy of the New York Post.

I wouldn’t have let him roll the dice on midcourt, I would’ve done something. I’ve always got love for New York.

Isaiah Hartenstield told Stefan Bondy

On the Western side of the NBA Cup knockout stage, Hartenstein and the Thunder are the main attractions. Oklahoma City (19-5) sealed its Vegas spot by going 3-1 in group play before defeating Dallas in quarterfinal action.

They are currently leading the Western standings overall. In addition, they recently defeated the Houston Rockets and will play the Milwaukee Bucks in the NBA Cup Finals.
